Once you have completed a voyage with the Leeuwin II you are given the opportunity to join our network of Leeuwin Volunteers through a free, twelve month membership.
You will receive invitations to training sessions, workshops and social events, and we will keep closely in touch via our ‘Challenge News’ and regular email newsletters. As a Leeuwin volunteer you can crew on day sails and voyages and put your name down for ship keeping, office duties or ship maintenance.
We offer training and development for those volunteers who decide they would like to step up a level and become a Leeuwin Watchleader. We carefully select our Volunteer voyage crew for their leadership acumen and people skills. This is a great way to teach your skills to a new group of trainees and further your leadership training.
Keep in mind that you do not need to have completed a voyage to join the Leeuwin family as a volunteer. You can join as a volunteer via the office. Volunteering is great for personal development and is also an opportunity to network and make new friends. Whether you are 15 years old or older, becoming part of the Leeuwin family is a passport to an exciting opportunity to work alongside people who can help change your life.
If you would like more information on how to volunteer contact our team, (08) 9430 4105 or via email at: firstname.lastname@example.org
We thank you for your interest and hope to see you onboard soon.
