The Leeuwin Ocean Adventure Foundation has been running a youth development program since 1986. The program is both physically and emotionally challenging. It is designed to help young people reach their personal potential through the development of social confidence and relationship skills in 4 broad areas.
1. The concept of self 2. Communication skills 3. Teamwork 4. A sense of community
The benefits of the program directly impact the individual's peers, their school, family and community. These benefits are transferable as young people phase into adulthood as future employees and as responsible citizens in our communities.

SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE If you are interested in joining a voyage and aged between 14 and a half to 25 please email Siri at salesandmarketing@sailleeuwin.com for scholarship information. Voyages are filling up fast - we only have 16 availabe in 2010.
Youth Explorer Voyage 11 departs Fremantle on the 18th of September and arrives back in Fremantle on the 24th of September. Please email salesandmarketing@sailleeuwin.com if you would like information on how to join this adventure.
SCHOOL DAY SAIL
2010/11 Sail Calendar coming soon!
The Foundation takes out primary school, secondary school and colleges on 4 hour short sails. These sails are different to public sails as the focus more on team building activities. The short sail touches very lightly what life would be like on a voyage. School Sails in October, November & December 2010 are open for bookings now, please contact salesandmarketing@sailleuuwin.com for available dates.
The 2010/11 Sail Calendar will be available shortly with sails starting in October later this year. The sails are run out of Fremantle and are 3 hours in length and include a light meal onboard, with coffee and tea. To register your interest in a sail please email salesandmarketing@sailleeuwin.com and you will receive the 2010/11 Sail Calendar as soon as it is available.
